A flour sack towel refers more to the fabric construction — a plain-weave 100% cotton fabric originally made from flour sack material. Our 19×28 is both: it uses flour sack cotton fabric in the classic rectangular tea towel dimensions. The 27×27 square is more commonly called a flour sack towel. Both are 100% cotton and work across the same decoration methods.

Yes — every 19×28 towel includes a built-in hanging loop, on every unit in every batch. The loop placement and size are consistent across orders, so your production workflow and finished product presentation stays standardized.
Thread count refers to the number of threads woven per square inch of fabric. At 130 thread count, these towels are denser and more tightly woven than standard flour sack fabric — which means they're more absorbent, have a softer hand feel, and provide a finer surface for decoration. For embroidery in particular, the higher thread count gives the needle more to grip and produces cleaner, more detailed stitch results.
Sublimation is designed for polyester, but many customers successfully use it on these 100% cotton towels by applying a polyester coating spray (such as Subli-Glaze or similar) to the fabric first. Results are slightly less vibrant than on 100% poly but it works. For full-color printing without any pretreatment, DTG printing is the recommended method on 100% cotton.
