Sublimation is designed for polyester, but many of our customers successfully use it on these 100% cotton towels by applying a polyester coating spray (such as Subli-Glaze or similar products) to the fabric first — this creates a receptive surface for the dye to bond to. Results are slightly less vibrant than on 100% poly, but it works. If you're buying blank to decorate, DTG, DTF, screen printing, HTV, and embroidery all work excellently on these towels without any pretreatment.
Yes. Consistent 27″×27″ dimensions is one of the most important things we maintain for our wholesale customers — because if your towels change size between batches, your production workflow breaks. White (bleached) has a clean, bright white base — ideal for DTG, screen printing, and HTV where a neutral background is important for color accuracy. Natural (unbleached) retains the cotton's warm, off-white tone — preferred for embroidery and brands with a farmhouse, artisan, or natural aesthetic. Both are 100% cotton with identical dimensions and construction.
For most decoration methods — sublimation, screen printing, HTV, and DTG — no pre-washing is required and the towels can go straight to production. For embroidery, some decorators prefer a pre-wash to remove any residual sizing, though our towels are relatively low in sizing. We recommend running a small test batch with your specific process before committing to a full production run.
