What is the minimum order for custom printed TB200 tote bags?
The minimum order is 50 pieces per design, for both screen printing and DTF. This applies per colorway — if you want the same design on both natural and black bags, each color is a separate run with its own 50-piece minimum. For large promotional orders of 100, 250, or 500+ pieces, contact us for volume pricing.
Should I choose screen printing or DTF for my TB200 tote?
Screen printing is best for designs with 1–4 solid spot colors — logos, wordmarks, and bold type. DTF is best for full-color artwork, gradients, photos, illustrations, and fine detail, and the number of colors in your design doesn't change the price. On the TB200, both screen printing and DTF are available on natural and black canvas. If you're not sure which method suits your artwork, send it to us and we'll recommend a method on your free proof.
What's the difference between the TB200 and TB100?
The TB200 is 12 oz heavy canvas; the TB100 is 6 oz lightweight canvas. Both are flat totes at 15"×16" with a 10"×12" imprint area, but the TB200 is significantly heavier, holds its shape better under load, and has a more premium feel in hand. The TB100 is the better choice when cost-per-unit is the primary concern on very large runs. The TB200 is the better choice when print quality, bag longevity, and perceived value matter — which is most promotional and branded merchandise situations.
Can I get my logo screen printed on the black TB200?
Yes — screen printing is available on both the natural and black TB200. For printing on black canvas, we recommend using light-colored inks (white, cream, or light neutrals) for maximum contrast and legibility. We'll advise on ink color options when we prepare your proof. Full-color designs can also go on black with DTF — the white underbase keeps full-color artwork bright on black canvas.
How long does it take to receive custom printed TB200 tote bags?
Turnaround is 10–14 business days after you approve your digital proof. The proof is typically ready within 1–2 business days of receiving your artwork. We ship from California, so most US locations receive orders within 3–5 business days of ship date. If you have a deadline, mention it when you send your artwork and we'll confirm whether the timeline is achievable.
What file format should I send for my custom tote bag design?
For screen printing, vector files are strongly preferred — AI, EPS, or PDF with outlined fonts. For DTF printing, send a high-resolution PNG at 300 dpi at the intended print size, with a transparent background preferred; PDF and vector files are also fine. Printed colors can differ slightly from how they look on a screen, and your free proof shows the placement and size of your design on the bag. If your file isn't in these formats, send it anyway — we'll let you know what adjustments are needed before building your proof. We never start production without your explicit written approval of the proof.
Does the print hold up through washing?
Yes. Both screen print and DTF prints on the TB200's 12 oz cotton canvas are durable through regular washing with proper care. For best print longevity, wash the bag inside out in cold water, tumble dry low or air dry, and do not iron directly on the print. A DTF print is a thin, flexible layer that sits on the canvas surface, and it holds up through regular washing when cared for this way. Screen print ink cures into the canvas surface and is also durable with proper care.
