Choose the Right Printing Method
Edge-to-edge and DTG use the same direct-to-fabric technology — the difference is coverage and process. Screen printing uses a mesh stencil for bold solid-color work. All three are handled by our team.

Edge-to-Edge Printing
The entire surface of the towel is your canvas — no borders, no white margins. The fabric is printed on a roll first, then cut and hemmed, so the design goes right to every edge. The most popular choice for artists with bold patterns, illustrated artwork, watercolors, and oil-based designs.

DTG Printing
Direct-to-fabric printing with unlimited colors and smooth gradients. Printed in the tri-fold position — at the bottom third of the towel — so when folded and hung over an oven handle, the full design is visible. Ink bonds into the cotton fiber — no cracking, no peeling. No minimum order.

Screen Printing
Ink pushed through a mesh stencil directly into the cotton fiber — the most durable printing method available. Up to 4 Pantone spot colors. Best for bold logos, text, and solid-color designs. Most economical for runs of 24+ pieces per design.

Add Branding to Your Custom Order
The print is the product. The branding makes it a business. These options make your towels look retail-ready — so they sell better in gift stores, at fairs, and through wholesale accounts.

See It. Feel It.
Order a Sample First.
Not sure how your illustration or painting will look on flour sack cotton? Order a custom-printed sample with your own design before committing to a full production run.
You'll see exactly how the colors print, how the fabric handles fine line detail, and how it feels in your hands — before the full order.
How It Works
From artwork to finished tea towels in four clear steps. Every order follows the same process — no surprises.
Pricing That Lets You Resell Profitably
Many of our customers supply independent gift stores, home goods boutiques, and specialty retailers. Our pricing is built to give you the margins to do that.
Order 100 or more pieces and you qualify for wholesale rates — up to 40% off standard pricing. The more you order, the better your cost per unit. Contact us for a quote based on your product, quantity, and method.
DTG has no minimum at all. Edge-to-edge starts at just 25 pieces per design. Test a new design, confirm it sells, then reorder at wholesale volumes. No large upfront commitment required to start.
We've Never Missed a Holiday Season.
Not Once in 19 Years.
While other suppliers quietly go quiet in November — we scale up. Your Halloween and Christmas orders ship on time. That's not a promise, it's a track record.
Customers place holiday orders in August or September, get told it will be ready, and by November production is backed up and the supplier can't fulfill. No Halloween stock, no Christmas inventory — a season of sales gone. Some even require you to commit to designs in June for a December delivery.
Our production times don't change in Q4. DTG and screen printing: 2–3 weeks from proof approval. Edge-to-edge: 3–5 weeks. Same in October as it is in March. A screen print or DTG order placed mid-October can realistically be in hand before Thanksgiving. Edge-to-edge ordered in late October ships in time for Christmas.
Common Questions
What is the difference between edge-to-edge and DTG printing?
Both use direct-to-fabric technology — the difference is coverage and process. DTG is applied to a finished, hemmed towel in the tri-fold position at the bottom third, so the full 14″×16″ design is visible when hung over an oven handle. Most popular size: 27″×27″. Edge-to-edge is printed on fabric as a continuous roll before cutting and hemming — the design covers 100% of the towel surface with zero white borders. Most popular size: 19″×28″.
How long does production take?
All production times run from proof approval. DTG and screen printing: 2–3 weeks. Edge-to-edge: 3–5 weeks. Aprons and pillow cases use the same DTG process — plan for 2–3 weeks. All orders ship from Southern California. US orders over $200 ship free.
What file formats and resolution do you need?
Send your file at 300 DPI or higher at the intended print size, in PDF, AI (fonts outlined), PNG (transparent background), EPS, or TIFF, in CMYK color mode. For screen printing, include Pantone (PMS) codes and separate each color onto its own layer. For edge-to-edge, extend your design 1–2 inches beyond the final towel dimensions as bleed. Not sure if your file is ready? Email it before ordering — we review artwork for free.
Can I order a sample before a full production run?
Yes — order a custom-printed sample with your actual artwork to see how it prints on flour sack cotton before committing to a full run. When you order a sample we include a $25 discount code toward your first full production order.
What branding options can I add to my order?
Three options: Loop screen printing — your brand name or logo printed onto the hanging loop. Custom labels and tags — brand labels stitched directly onto the product. Branded paper bands — custom-printed bands to wrap towels for display or shipping. All options are $0.50/piece with a 150-piece minimum total order. Combine any two for $0.75/piece. What fabric do you print on?
Tea towels are printed on 100% flour sack cotton — a 130 thread-count flat weave that is highly absorbent and lint-free. Pillow covers, aprons, and placemats are printed on 100% cotton twill — a heavier, tighter weave suited to structured products. Linen is coming soon — contact us to be notified.
Are custom printed tea towels machine washable?
Yes — all custom printed items are fully machine washable. The ink bonds into the cotton fiber rather than sitting as a surface layer, so it does not crack, peel, or flake with regular washing. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
Do you offer wholesale pricing for larger orders?
Yes — orders of 100+ pieces qualify for wholesale pricing, up to 40% off standard pricing. Contact us with your design, quantity, and printing method for a custom quote. Many of our wholesale customers supply independent retailers, gift shops, and specialty stores through their own channels or Faire.com.
