I bought the Flour Sack Towels to have an all purpose towel in the kitchen mostly to be used while cooking whether it's drying vegetables or protecting fruit from fruit flies they come in very handy. They're 100% cotton so wash/dry easily. Thank you for the great product! They were also shipped to me very quickly.

I purchased these as well as flour sack towels from another popular online fabric store. These seem far superior: after washing, the hems are all straight (easy to iron). The fabric, while still coarsely woven, is noticeably more dense than the other company’s, and they all have fabric source labels. However, they were hard to iron to make them smooth, so I wonder whether they are suitable for appliqué or embroidery. I cannot say yet how absorbent they will be for drying dishes; there was some lint in the dryer filter after the first wash. I’ll update my review later. But so far, 5 stars!

The canvas bags have a very strong unpleasant smell, that made everything in the box smell similar. I'm trying to air it all out- but unsure if it will pass. Unsure how the bags will hold up in laundry.

Every flour sack towel I've ever used, has been soft enough to dry the lenses of my glasses and have never left scratches. I bought these because of the smaller size and they didn't even soften up after using Downey in the washer. I wouldn't dare use these on my glasses. I've sent two "Contact Us" messages on their website and received no reply. Debbie in Kansas City
The towels I ordered got lost in the mail. Mary's Kitchen immediately jumped to reship another batch to me. These towels are good quality and exactly what I was hoping. I will definitely order from them again.
